GABF Wrap Up

Wow, what a great time. It was a pretty intense week of tasting beer. I am excited we won a gold for our IPA and a silver for our Organic Amber. But even more exciting was that my friend Kevin over at Redrock Brewing brought home 5 awards. He is a great brewer and good friend and I am super proud. Cheers to you Kev!

Organic Keller Bier on Tap

Squatters has created a Keller Bier for everyone. We used all organic malt, left it unfiltered and kept the hop profile low so the malt shines threw. On tap Thursday, October 4th. It tastes really nice, crisp and smooth.

Barrel Aged Cherry Luv on tap

If you love sour Belgian ale then come down to Squatters for a glass (snifter) of barrel aged Cherry Luv. On tap Friday, October 5th. Here is the description:

Barrel Aged Cherry Luv / Brewers Private Reserve
An "Oud Bruin", also known as Flanders brown style ale, originating from the Flemish
region of Belgium. A medium bodied, reddish-brown ale with a gentle malty flavor and no
hop bitterness. The aroma is a complex mixture of fruits and estery smells of plums,
raisins and cherry. Both Brettanomyces yeast and red tart cherries were used in fermentation to create authentic sour Belgian farmhouse ale with cherry accents. Aged for 7 months in a used bourbon barrel to inspire further Brettanomyces and micro-flora
fermentation. YOU MUST ENJOY SOUR BEER TO ORDER THIS UNIQUE BELGIAN-STYLE ALE.
